HARRIETT J CLARK, age 80, of Waverly Hall, Georgia passed away on Saturday, September 12, 2020. A graveside celebration of Harriett's life will be held Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at 10:00 AM at Parkhill Cemetery, 4161 Macon Rd, Columbus, GA 31907.

HARRIETT was born April 20, 1940 in Waverly Hall, Georgia to Beulah Lee Self Oliver and James Oliver. She grew up in hard times and learned to survive. Harriett went to work at a very early age to help support her family in the Textile Industry . She was a good Mom and provider. She loved her family and cooking for their large gatherings. Harriett taught her daughters to cook, have a good work ethic and take care of their families. She enjoyed sitting with the grandchildren, laughing and telling stories of the old days. Harriett will forever be remembered for her love and kindness and everyone will miss those Biscuits and Tomato Gravy.

Her husband of 60 years Ocie Clark; father James Oliver and mother Beulah Oliver; sisters Louise, and Helen, and brothers Buck, Frank and Flib, preceded Harriett in death. She is survived by ; daughters Martha McLendon (Phillip) and Patricia McMahan (Richard); sons Milton, Charles (Kathy), Tim, Rodney (Jennie); sisters Dot, Ruby, Shirley; brothers Horace and Hubert; nine grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; other family members and many friends to cherish Harriett’s memory.
