Gregory (Clyde) James Ross, of Covington, passed away at his home, Monday, September 7, 2020 at the age of 71. While he was born in Anaheim, CA, he lived most of his life in Virginia, Florida, and Georgia. Greg is preceded in death by his father, Leighton Wesley Ross, his mother, Virginia Watson Hutchinson, and his stepfather, Charles (Chuck) Hutchinson.

He is survived by his son of PA; siblings, Sherry McCormick of NC, Brad (Stephanie) Ross of NY and Peggy Humphreys of GA; the mother of his son; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Greg enjoyed spending time at the beach, playing drums, and tinkering around the house.

He was happiest the closer to nature he could be. He loved mountains, forests, and cabins in the woods, but had a special affinity for beaches, boats, and salt water too.
