She graduated from Coalgate High School and attended South Oklahoma City Community College where she received an Associate's Degree. Phyllis was a Travel Agent. She worked for a Title and Abstract Company and was a hairdresser.

She loved to travel and she loved gardening...there wasn't anything she couldn't grow. Everyone loved her amazing breakfast and the sweets she always made too many of. They loved when she got the silly giggles and couldn't stop laughing. Phyllis will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
