Mrs. Wanda Gay Evans

A funeral service for Mrs. Wanda Gay Evans, 68 of Anniston, will be on Wednesday, September 16, 2020 at 1:00 pm at Coldwater Baptist Church. Bro. Clint Vaughn will be officiating. The family will receive friends on the same day from 11:00 am until the time of the service. A burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Evans passed away on September 14, 2020.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband of 49 years, Joseph Wayne Evans; daughters, Stephanie Painter (Eric) and Heather Evans; grandsons, Troy Painter (Ashley) and Cole Painter; great granddaughters, Madison Painter and Payton Bennett; sister, Connie Till (Wesley); brother, William Worrell, and several nieces, nephews and extended family members.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Clifton and Wanda Worrell; brother, Perry Worrell and a sister, Betty Worrell.

Pallbearers will be Kevin Ginn, Andy Mullinax, Wesley Till, Eric Painter, Cole Painter and Troy Painter.

Mrs. Evans was a active member of Coldwater Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School for over 30 years.

She was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend and will be deeply missed.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Lorie Life Legacy or to Coldwater Baptist Church in Mrs. Evans’ name.
