Wanda Mae Good, 96, of Altoona, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday at the Presbyterian Home at Hollidaysburg. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Carl E. and Hilda (Williams) Shope. She married H. Paul Good on March 12, 1946 and he preceded her in death on Feb. 27, 2002.
Surviving are her daughter, Wende M. Good; four sons: Robert P. (Jean), Chip P. (Doris), J. Scott (Pam) and Bill L. Good; 11 grandchildren: Rob, Mike, Tom, Adam, Jeff, Ryan, Kyle, Michele, Amy, Anne and Billy; 14 great-grandchildren; and a niece, Bobby (Weidel) Maloney.
Wanda was preceded in death by her sister, Bette Audre Weidel; a grandson, Andy Good; a niece, Debbie Richard; and two nephews, Barry and Brian Weidel.
Wanda was a 1942 graduate of Altoona High School. She loved being at home, raising her children, spending time with her family. Wanda faithfully prayed for everyone and enjoyed reading the Bible. She was a member of the 28th Street Church of the Brethren.
