D. A. Smith, brother of Trustee Myron Smith, of Chesterton, died Thursday morning at his home in Hobart, of heart trouble, the result of being overcome by the heat. Mr. Smith was first taken ill Tuesday afternoon but recovered sufficiently to be about on Wednesday. He was again taken ill Wednesday evening and a physician was called who remained with him until late Wednesday night. The funeral was held Saturday the G. A. R. being in charge. The deceased is survived by a widow and two children. Mr. Smith was well known in Chesterton.
