Barbara Harvey died peacefully surrounded by her loving husband, Philip Harvey, and cherished daughters, Nancy Fisher and Suzanne Hefty at Treasure Coast Hospice in Stuart, FL on Monday, February 19,2007. Long time resident of Elm Grove, WI and since 1981 of Palm City, FL.

Barbara was born in Fond du Lac, WI on June 28, 1921. Daughter of Winifred and Curtis Boyce and sister of David C. Boyce, she grew up in Wauwatosa, WI where she graduated from Wauwatosa High School. Barbara graduated from Lawrence University in 1943 and married her college sweetheart Phil after graduation.

Barbara and Phil started their family after World War II with the births of thee three children Nancy, Suzanne and Steven.

She supported Phil in his founding of Reliable Paper Company in 1952.

Barbara and Phil moved to Elm Grove in 1955 and became active in Community United Methodist Church.

Barbara was a true volunteer leader and gave generously of her time and talents to many charitable organizations. She loved golf and had two holes-in one during her career!

Barbara was a vibrant, creative woman who loved life, the arts and particularly her many friends.

Barbara is survived by her husband of 63 years, Philip Harvey, her daughters Nancy (Stephen) Fisher and Suzanne (Thomas) Hefty.

She was preceded in death by her son Steven C. Harvey, Barbara adored her grandchildren Katherine (Daniel) Doyle, Stephanie and Carolyn Hentz, Monique, (John Dinoto), Michael (Jessica), Mark, Steven, Jr., Denise D. and Caroline Harvey and step-granddaughters Sarah (Patrick) Gibbs and Anne (Brian) Veit. She is also survived by her brother, Dr. David C. Boyce, six great-grandchildren and nieces and nephew.

A Memorial Service will be held for Barbara on Monday, February 26,2007 at 10 a.m. at Community United Methodist Church, 14700 Watertown Plank Road, Elm Grove, WI 53122.

Greeting of family and friends will take place in the Revelation Room of the church following the service.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial gifts to Treasure Coast Hospices, 1201 SE Indian Street, Stuart, FL. 34997; Community Methodist Church of Elm Grove or Sharon Lynne Wilson Center for the Arts, 19895 W Capitol Drive, Brookfield, WI 53045.

Local Arrangements have been entrusted to Martin Funeral Home Crematory, Stuart 223-5550.
