Betty G. Baker Fowler, 75, of Phenix City, AL died peacefully at Columbus Hospice House, Columbus, GA on Sunday, September 13, 2020 with her family by her side.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, September 16, 2020 in the Chapel of Vance Brooks Funeral Home, Phenix City, AL. A private interment will be held in Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery.

Mrs. Fowler was born February 15, 1945 in Phenix City, AL daughter of the late Sam Baker and Rosie Lee Coggins Baker.

She was a homemaker who dearly enjoyed her job because this allowed her to be with her family whom she was passionate about. Ms. Betty enjoyed raising parakeets and finches, also reading and doing word search. She was an active part of the nursey at Woodland Baptist Church. Her love of family and especially the grandchildren will be a fond memory that will be forever cherished in our hearts.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Fowler was predeceased by her sister, Lillie Belle Courtney.

Survivors include her husband of 53 years, William Floyd Fowler, Phenix City, AL; three children, Malynda Millirons (Derrick), Seale, AL, Tammy Canington (Patrick), Phenix City, AL, and Jeffrey Fowler, Warner Robins, GA; extended generations.
