Blant R. Bell, 70, of Landisburg RR 2 died Friday, Dec. 9, 2005 at home.

He was born June 10, 1935 at New Bloomfield to the late Speece E. and Arvilla I. (Cox) Bell.

He retired from TRW and Chromalloy American Corporation, Harrisburg, and had worked at the former Miller's Auto Supply of Carlisle and Lewistown; a 1953 graduate of Green Park Union High School; a member of Sheaffer's Valley Church of God, Landisburg Fire Company and Landisburg Ambulance Club; and enjoyed woodworking.

Surviving are his wife Patricia P. Sheriff Bell; three children, Patricia J. Markel of Mt. Holly Springs, Michael R. of Landisburg and Cindy L. Gartzke of Camp Hill; a brother, Kenneth E. of Landisburg; seven grandchildren, Derek, Jill, Chad, Brandon, Scott, Karen and Laura; and four great-grandchildren.

Services were held Dec. 14 in Nickel Funeral Home, Loysville, with the Rev. Harry C. Cole officiating.

Burial was in Landisburg Cemetery.
