Daughter of the late Noah Miner Croy and Lorene West Croy, she was the widow of James Morris Collins (her first husband) and John Ralph Roper (her second husband). Additionally, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Janet Childers, and by a brother, Glenn Aubrey Croy. She was survived by a daughter, Carol Edwards (David); three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three step-children; and an extended family of relatives and friends. Her funeral was held on September 13, 2020, with The Rev. Randy Richards and The Rev. Jamie Sanford officiating.
