Charles E. Marlow, 85, of the Houndsville Road, Malone died Friday, September 11, 2020, at the Alice Hyde Medical Center, Malone.

Born on March 20, 1935, in Malone, NY, he was the son of Harold and Ada Mae (Newton) Marlow.

He was married to Carol Barnes on Oct. 13, 1956 in Notre Dame Church.

Charlie graduated from Franklin Academy High School.

He enlisted in the US Army in 1953 where he was a helicopter mechanic and was honorably discharged in 1955.

He was employed for Eastern Hardware and later Adirondack Hardware, retiring after many years of service. He was a member of Friendly Snowmobile Club and a past member of the Malone American Legion. Charlie enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law of North Bangor; a daughter and son-in-law of Marion, NY; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a sistersand a brother-in-law of Malone; a sister of Vermont; a brother and sister-in-law of Florida; and a brother-in-law of Constable.

He was predeceased by his parents; a grandson, Jason Marlow; two brothers, George and Richard Marlow and two sisters and a brother-in-law, Beverly and Robert Maloney and Jackie Bombard.
