On September 24, 1918, in Grapeland, Texas a baby girl was born to Luke and Mary Wallace.

On February 19, 1947, she married Dewey newton. To this union one son and one daughter was born.

She served faithfully under the leadership of Rev. L.D. Thomlinson. She sung in the choir and was a Missionary sister. She belonged to Queen of Sheba Grand Chapter Order of the Eastern Star.

She was preceded in death by her husband Dewey Newton; her parents; one brother Tommy Wallace; four sisters Annie Mae Quinn, Willie Mae Wallace, Florine Mae Wallace and Beulah Wallace (half-sister).
