Donna Mae (Danielson) Hart, age 87, of Chatfield, MN, passed away peacefully at the Chatfield Care Center September 13, 2020.

Donna was born September 29, 1932 to Chester and Gladys (Brenno) Danielson. She graduated from Chosen Valley High School in Chatfield.

She married Richard Hart June 30, 1951. They just celebrated 69 years of marriage and were still just as in love as the day they met. They made their home in Chatfield where they raised 8 children who she was very proud of.

She worked at the Silver Grill, Barlow Foods, and was a proud Licensed Day Care Provider for over 20 years.

Donna was a member of the Chatfield Lutheran Church and loved her Ladies Circle.

Donna is survived by 3 daughters: Judy (Tom) Ranfranz of Rochester, Kathy (Lyle) Packer of Kasson, Pam Sullivan (Darwin Thorson) of Rochester; 5 sons: Gary (Diane) Hart Of Olathe, KS, Jeff Hart (Karen Kotval) of Rochester, David Hart (Karen Sandborn) of Chatfield, Brian (Kim) Hart of Fair Grove, MO, and Scott Hart (Cathy Vumbaco) of Springfield MO; 19 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild, with another due in March.

Donna loved being a grandma and her grandchildren adore her. She had a smile and kindness they will always remember.

She is fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews, especially nephew Dennis Irish. She would have several visits from him weekly and he loved giving her flowers and kept a good eye on her and Dick.

Family was the most important to Donna. She loved spending time with all her children and grandchildren and loved family get-togethers. Everyone knew they were welcomed at the Hart home with open arms, always with coffee and lunch. Donna enjoyed baking, canning, and cooking.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and 9 siblings: Arland, Clair, Jerry, LaVern, Duane, Darrell, betty Connelly, LaVonne Schoeppner, and Mavis Danielson; and grandson, Joel Ranfranz.
