Timothy Alan Pennington, 37, of Holton, KS, passed away Saturday, September 12, 2020 at his home with family by his side after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born June 19, 1983 in Long Beach, CA, the son of Trinidad Rodriguez and Debbie Pennington.
Timothy attended schools in California. He had lived in the Holton area since 2009 and previously in Topeka.
Timothy worked for Crosswinds in Sabetha, KS. He had been a Shift Manager at Burger King and built fence for Henderson Fence Co in Auburn, KS.
Timothy married Andrea Ellis on November 26, 2009 in Topeka, KS. She survives of the home. Other survivors include 4 sons, Timothy D., Nicholas L., Mathew A. and Joshua H. Pennington; mother, Debbie Thomas of Topeka, KS; father, Trinidad Rodriguez of Los Angeles, CA; sister, Victoria Pennington of Topeka, KS; brothers, William Thomas and Robert Thomas both of Topeka, KS; mother-in-law, Denise Ellis of Auburn, KS; father-in-law, Mark Ellis of Topeka, KS; grandma-in-law, Claudette Kohn of Topeka, KS and sister-in-law, Lacey Kendall of Topeka, KS.
He was preceded in death by step-dad, Bill Thomas and grandpa-in-law, Deane Kohn.
Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 17, 2020 at the Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Topeka.
