Actor. Born Orange Salisbury Cash in Angola, New York, he began his career performing on theatre stages in 1898. He appeared in several Broadway productions before making his big screen debut in "The Squaw Man" (1914). He became an matinee idol, frequently working with director Cecil B. De Mille and appeared in over 40 feature films. His credits include "The Master Mind" (1914), "Ramona" (1916), "The Sleeping Lion" (1919), "Great Alone" (1922) and "The Jade Box" (1930). He died at age 59 in San Bernardio, California, from a fractured skull sustained in fall.
