He graduated from Eastern Randolph High School in 1999 and joined the Air Force in December of 2002. He was stationed in Japan and Germany and toured in Afghanistan. He was honorably discharged in February of 2015. Among his many attributes we will miss most about Chris are his handsome face, his beautiful smile, and his incredible sense of humor. Chris occupied his time by playing disc golf, snowboarding, playing the acoustic guitar, volunteering at a retirement home and building relationships with the residents. He was a computer wizard and had such a knowledge of electronics. In his spare time, he enjoyed listening to music, working on cars, writing songs and going to the gym. Chris will always be remembered as a fun loving, caring, energetic, hardworking man with a brave sense of adventure. He will be forever remembered and deeply missed by his family, friends and especially his beloved son, Rustan.
A private graveside memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2020 at Bennett Baptist Church, where he was a member with Rev. Tim Strider, John Phillips, and Chase Jones presiding.
