She was a member of the St. Mary AME Church of Caryville, FL where she remained a faithful member until her health began to fail.
Sarah was a member of the Eastern Star, Sunday Morning Band, and the Christian Band of Benevolent. She enjoyed spending time with her Lord & Savior and her favorite scripture was Psalms 23.
She attended and completed school at St. Mary School and Washington Holmes Technical School where she earned her nursing license.
Sarah became employed at Holmes Shirt Company in Bonifay, FL. She also worked for the Council on Aging in Bonifay, FL until she became disabled. Sarah loved and enjoyed taking care of the sick and shut in.
She leaves to cherish her memories her daughter: Lottie Troublefield of Caryville, FL; grandchildren: Gillis Tyrone Troublefield, Demetrious (Shawana) Troublefield, Tammery Troublefield, Tavares (Shana) Troublefield, Tyrika Troublefield, all of Caryville, FL, Sharnika (Miko) Harris of Bonifay, FL, and Pammery Troublefield of Ohio; daughter like her own: Akilah (Alex) Love of California; along with a host of great-grands, great great-grands, nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; and sisters: Bernice Simmons, Maude Neal, and Louise Jackson.
