June 26, 2003 Karen Marie Sherman, 47, of Syracuse, died Thursday. She lived in Camillus most of her life. She was a former member of Astride and participated in the Special Olympics. Her parents, Richard and Madeline Sherman, died earlier. Surviving is her sister, Sally (Pat) Sherman-Torzon of Camillus. Graveside Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Friends may call Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus. Contributions may be made to Friends of D.S.O., 800 South Wilbur Ave., Syracuse 13204.
