Word received by relatives here last Friday state that Hiram Flock had died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Fred Miske. Funeral services were held Sunday at Bartlett.

Pneumonia Cause of Hiram Flock's Death April 20th - Well Known Rosevale Farmer Dies 2 Weeks After His Return from California.
Hiram Flock, a well-known resident of the Rosevale neighborhood, passed away at 8 o'clock Thursday morning, April 20. He had returned two weeks previous from California where he had spent the winter with a sister. Immediately afterward his return he took the flu which later developed into pneumonia and other complications.
Hiram Stewart Flock, son of John and Mary Flock was born May 29, 1869 in Harrison County, Indiana and passed away April 20, 1939 at the age of 69 years, 11 months and 20 days.
He was united in marriage to Christina Bradley at Rockport, Mo. Sept. 27, 1900.
His parents, five brothers, five sisters, a daughter Rosa and a son John proceeded him in death. He leaves to mourn his wife, two sons, one daughter, two stepdaughters, a sister; twenty-three grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
