Mary Anica Roy, age 88, passed away peacefully at her home in Rowlett, TX, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born January 19, 1932, in Whitesboro, TX, to Dan and Rosetta (Webb) Garvin. Mary was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. She was dearly loved by her family and friends and will be missed.
Mary is survived by her husband: Lonnie Roy of Rowlett, TX; sons: Dewayne Roy and wife Sharon of Mesquite, TX, and Shelly Andrew Roy of Rowlett, TX; brother: Billy Bob Garvin and wife Joretta; grandson: Jonathan Roy and wife Rachel of Sachse, TX; great-grandsons: Jake and Blake. She was preceded in death by her parents and four siblings: Ruby Owen, W.P. “Dub” Garvin, Dan Garvin, and Sue Turner.
Graveside services will be held at noon on Tuesday, September 15, 2020, at Oakwood Cemetery in Whitesboro, TX.
