She was born on October 30, 1934 in Harvey, IL, the daughter of Earl and Marion (Homer) Haslet. She married Burton Breazeale Sr. on December 31, 1957 in Joliet, IL. She was a homemaker. Earlene loved her dogs and enjoyed bargain shopping. She especially loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband, Burton Breazeale Sr. of Manteno; two sons and daughters-in-law, Burton (Debbie) Breazeale Jr. and Michael (Ruta) Breazeale all of Manteno; her grandchildren, Angie (Chris) Stevens, Burton (Julie) Breazeale III, Beth (Chris) Gunty, Brittany (Cody) Larkins, and Brandon Breazeale; her great-grandchildren, Austyn, Burton IV, Aeryn, Lily, Gracie, and Nolan; a sister, Judy (the late Charles) Stone of Melvin, IL; and a brother, Earl (Helen) Haslet of Indiana.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Billy Nelson; and a sister, Millie Tuttle.
Visitation will be held at the Fedde-Helfrich-Cross Funeral Home on Saturday, September 12 from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. with a funeral service being held at 12:00 p.m., Pastor Joseph Johnson officiating. Due to the global health pandemic (COVID-19) the wearing of a face covering will be required to enter the funeral home and social distancing must be observed. The funeral service will be live streamed on the Fedde-Hlefrich-Cross Funeral Home Facebook page. Burial will take place at Skyline Memorial Park in Monee, IL. Memorials may be directed to the family’s wishes.
