On Wednesday, September 9, 2020, Elizabeth “Bickey” Speas Belcher, a loving wife, mother, grandma and great-grandmother passed away at age 57.

Elizabeth was born June 17, 1963 in Farmville, Virginia. Bickey was the nicknamed that she was most known by. She graduated from Cumberland County Public schools.

Elizabeth worked at Bear Creek Market in Cumberland for many years. Bickey is well loved and had a huge influence on many people and she will be missed by many.

Bickey loved cooking, cookouts, family time, kids and holidays, especially thanksgiving and Christmas. She had a heart of gold and was willing to help when able.

Bickey was preceded in death by her mother, Jean Speas; father, Garnett Speas; sister, Cindy Inge and her beloved daughter, Kelly May Belcher.

Bickey is survived by her husband, Gregory Belcher; son, Eric Belcher; daughter, Terry Ayers; brother, Danny Speas; grandchildren , Kirsha Purkey (General), Katie Jenkins (Junior), Kiara Pike (Ki); great-grandchildren, Jayden “Jay” Leonard, Carter “Squeaky” Dressler, Clayton “Peanut” Dressler and Easton “Lil Man” Kyle and many other family and friends.
