The funeral service will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Richard Boles Funeral Service Chapel officiated by the Rev. Nathan Locklear. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the funeral home. A private interment will be held at a later date.
She was born Dec. 22, 1950 in Richmond County, daughter of the late Colon James Farris, Sr. and Bernice Frances English Farris Locklear. She dedicated her life to caring for others working as a Certified Nursing Assistant formerly with Willow Place and Prestwick Village. She enjoyed playing cards, cooking and traveling with her husband.
She was also predeceased by a , Jimmy Eugene Locklear; brother, Charles "Bucky" Farris; grandsons, Jerry Lee Lake, Jimmy, James and Ernest Seals.
Patricia is survived by her husband, Terry Dial of their home in Laurinburg; two daughters, Angela Dawn Locklear Lake and husband Edward Lake and Pamela Denise Locklear; two brothers, Colon James "Jimmy" Farris, Jr., and wife Jeane, Calvin Eugene "Gene" Farris and wife Elaine; a sister, Bertha "Bert" Farris Rollins and husband Timothy; a sister-in-law, Shirld Farris; grandchildren, Briana Dawn Locklear and Arthea Bernice Seals; many nieces, nephews and a host of family and friends.
