Donald Ray Clay was born February 2, 1936 in Webbers Falls, OK the son of William and Eva (Johnson) Clay. He passed from this life on September 9, 2020. He was 84.

Donald was married to Opal Morris on August 10, 1960. He served in the US Army from 1954 to 1957. Upon his discharge he began a lifelong career in construction engineering working as a surveyor, draftsman, inspector and engineer. He enjoyed spending time with family, fishing, hunting and traveling. He also spent some time as a silversmith and making turquoise jewelry. Donald was longtime member of the Assemblies of God.

Donald is survived by three children, Don Clay Jr. of Warner, Pam Allison (Kusler) of Warner and Linda Aker and husband Walter of Green Ridge, MO; one sister Martha Naugle and husband Rich of Ada, OK; one brother Kenneth Clay and wife Carolyn of Porum and sister in law Betty Clay of Warner; grandchildren Holly and husband John, Nathan, Nicholas and wife Amanda, Dustin, Joshua, Haylee and Andrew; great grandchildren Elizabeth and husband Shelby, Emily, Tyler, Jayce, Arriyana, Heath, Kate, Coy and Genesis; great great grandchild Rosalina. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Opal and siblings Bill Clay, Robert Clay, Sammy Clay, Irene Adams and Wanda Tyson

Funeral services will be 10:00 am Monday September 14, 2020 at First Assembly of God in Warner with Rev. Kenneth Clay officiating. Interment will follow at Warner Memorial Cemetery in Warner under the direction of Lescher-Millsap Funeral Home of Muskogee. Casket bearers will be Nick Kusler, Dustin Kusler, Josh Kusler, Andrew Clay, Larry Tyson and Nathan Aker. Viewing will be Sunday from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
