Bill was born August 15, 1929 in Clarksburg, West Virginia to the late Oren Lee and Bessie Meadows. He lived in Florence with his wife for the past 57 years where he was a faithful member of Marvin UMC and served as the Sunday School superintendent for many years. He was the owner and operator of Meadows Plumbing Company where he was a subcontractor to new home construction. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army where he served his country in the during the Korean Conflict. He also served as past officer of the Lion’s Club.
Bill is survived by his wife of 63 years, Barbara Millis Meadows of Florence; son, Steve (Rhonda) Meadows of Clinton; grandsons, Will and Leland Meadows; sister-in-law, Bettie Millis; and nephew, Bernie (Dee) Meadows.
