--Her mother was Winnie Earl and her father was Edward Knuckles. Edna came to Charlotte at an early age and was raised by her grandmother Pauline Ardrey.
--Occupation: Edba worked in the field of dietary at Wesley Nursing Home many years and later found a rewarding 25 year career at Eckerd Corporation as a warehouse clerk and a delivery driver until her health declined.
--She was the mother of 6: Donnell, Deborah, Demetria, Deanna, Demon, and DeCarlos. She had 12 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
--She enjoyed cooking, traveling, fishing, bowling and shopping.
--Although she was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis and Multiple Myeloma, she did not let that stop her from being active. She was devoted supporter to The Multiple Sclerosis Foundation where she attended various events and seminars. She always encouraged her family and friends to attend seminars, events and gain more knowledge and awareness about Multiple Sclerosis and Cancer.
