Mr. Harry Gayle Freeman, 75, of College Hill, passed away on Thursday evening, September 10, 2020.
Gayle was born on November 26, 1944, the son of Harry Efford and Mary Addie Freeman. He attended Waco Elementary and Junior High and was a 1962 Graduate of Madison Central High School. He also attended Eastern Kentucky University. He later became a Master Electrician and retired from Henderson Electric in Louisville, Kentucky. He was a member of the IBEW Local 369 and The NEBF. He was a member of the Bluegrass Mustang Club. He loved Golf, Fishing, Nascar and his Mustangs. Gayle was a member of The College Hill United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife: Dawn K. Wilkerson Freeman; one daughter: Kimberly Freeman Proffitt (Donnie); two sons: Edward Freeman (Dana) and Jason Freeman (Bethany); eleven grandchildren: Brayden Proffitt, Gavin Proffitt, Molly Kate Proffitt, Maddox Proffitt, Jaxon Freeman, Rylee Freeman, Chase Freeman, Clark Freeman, Chloe Freeman, Brittany Freeman Bell; four great-grandchildren: Jake Bell, Madeline Bell, Savannah Bell and Hunter Bell.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother: Billy Freeman and a sister: Vickie Lynn Reynolds.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:30 PM Monday at The College Hill United Methodist Church with Pastor James Atherton officiating. Burial will be in the Flatwoods Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5-8 PM Sunday at the church. Social Distancing Guidelines will be observed.
Pallbearers are: Rick Graves, Jimmy Cain, Donnie Proffitt, Chase Freeman, Clark Freeman, Brayden Proffitt and Gavin Proffitt.
Honorary Pallbearers are: Doug Kaylor, Bill Gabbard, Dana Bradley and Bill Castle.
