Bernadine "Dena" was born to Jan "John Bielema" and Christina (Bolt) Bilema 1902 at Ustick Twp, IL. Miss Dena married Lawrence Leroy Green in 1921 at Sterling, IL. She retired as a teacher and also worked as a correspondent for area newspapers.
Her husband and children survived to morn her passing: Lawrence James PhD, Janet Christine (Harold) Kooi, Rhea (Glenn) Bechtel, and Connie (Burton) Wiersema, 12 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; sisters: Minnie Wilkins and Katy Houzenga.
