Lula Marie Jones of Nelsonville passed away Friday, September 11, 2020. She was born November 25, 1944 in Saffell, Arkansas to George Alexander and Doris Pauline Pinkston Blankenship. She worked several years for Settles Cleaners and Nuway Cleaners both in Batesville and also worked several years for Qualls Funeral Home in Cave City. She was a member of the Lebanon Missionary Baptist Church at Nelsonville.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, J.D. Ring and William Wilkes; one son, Michael Ring; one brother, Leroy Blankenship; two sisters, Allie Jean Blankenship and Bulah Mae Tackett and one step-grandson, Shannon Martin.

Survivors include her husband of 14 years, W.G. Jones Jr. of the home; one daughter, Tammy Romero (Chris) of Mountain View; one daughter-in-law, Ann Ring of Batesville; stepdaughter, Carla Medlock (Bernis) of Searcy; stepsons, Jamie Martin (Kathy) and Tim Martin both of Poughkeepsie; twelve grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be Monday, September 14, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at the Lebanon Missionary Baptist Church in Nelsonville with Bro. Boyce Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Sidney with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.

Pallbearers will be Chris Romero, Traven Romero, Dalton Romero, Tim Martin, Bernis Medlock and Kenny Boyd.

Honorary pallbearers Jamie Martin, Randy Smith and Jerry Medlock.
