Michael Charles Tidwell, went to heaven on Saturday, March 18, 2017. He was greeted by his Lord, his mom, Bettijean Tidwell and dad, William F. Tidwell, his precious dogs and many more family and friends. Mike was born on July 19th, 1954, in Munich, Germany.
Mike served in the Air Force for 8 years and he owned his own auto repair business, M&J Auto, for many years. He enjoyed anything that had to do with cars, motorcycles, golf and camping in his RV. He was also a member of the Elks Lodge in New Braunfels, TX.
He leaves behind his loving wife, Joyce Tidwell, daughters, Kim Pyle of Mesquite, TX, and Vicki Poe of Dallas, TX and his son, Geoffrey Tidwell of San Marcos, TX.
Mike has 3 grandchildren, Tabatha Pyle of Lancaster, TX, Alan Biggs of Houston, TX and Liam Tidwell of San Marcos, TX. He also has 1 great grandchild, Mesiyah Jackson of Lancaster, TX, and unbeknownst to Mike, another great grandchild on the way. Mike is also survived by his siblings, Cynthia Jean Tidwell Johnston of Wichita, KS, Jenny Tidwell Bertsch of Sarasota, FL, Tracy Tidwell Green of Alexandria, VA, Bill Tidwell Jr and Julia Tidwell Burtness of Denver, CO, Neil Tidwell of Navarre, FL. Other family members include Don Neal of Austin, TX, Diane Herrera of Philadelphia, PA, Deborah McCash of Waco, TX and many nephews and nieces. Heaven has gained a good man.
