Keith Lewis Turner, 58, of Fortson, GA. passed away on September 10, 2020 at his home surrounded by his family. Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 12, 2020 in Parkhill Cemetery with Reverend Hank Reeves officiating according to Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, Columbus, GA. A visitation will be held from 12:00 noon until 1:30 pm at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary.
Keith was born on January 11, 1962 to the late Marion Johnny Turner and Betty Anne McGinnis Turner. He was employed by the Cherokee County Fire Department. He was an avid fisherman who spent hours on the lake fishing with his brother Ronald. He enjoyed spending time at the beach with family. In his quiet time he would enjoy reading, especially books by Tom Clancy. Other than his parents Keith was preceded in death by a brother, Ronald and a nephew, Chris.
Survivors include his loving wife of 18 years, Karen Turner, children, Zack and Alexis Turner, Stacy and Richard Hanners, grandchildren, Grace and Ayden, nephews, Gary, Kevin, Spencer and Scott and a niece Michelle.
