Patricia I. “Pat” Ford, of Saint Louis, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, September 9, 2020 at the age of 72. Loving significant other of Richard Straub; beloved daughter of the late Steven and Geneva Mareschal; devoted mother of Tanya (Scott) Kliever and Patricia "Sis" Foote; cherished grandmother of Stephanie (DJ) Kilgo, Jamie (Victor) Pazmino, Jessica Hayden, Michael Bridgett, Kyle Kliever, Jena (Benjamin) Richardson, Karly Kliever, and Jalyn Foote-Cortez; treasured great-grandmother of Charlie, Addy, Allie, John, Ezra, Nora, Jaxon, Billy, Elizabeth, Caroline, Ryland, and Alice; dear sister of Kim (Ron) Draper and Steven (Beth) Mareschal.
Pat loved her family, she was kind and caring, and always a great listener. She had such a funny sense of humor, and she never missed a moment to make you laugh or roll her eyes at you. She always looked forward to attending her grandkids birthday parties, graduations, weddings, and all of the many sporting events.
Pat’s middle name should have been “Thrifty,” because she could always find those hidden treasures and bargains when she went shopping. She could also play a smart game of Bingo, watch out for her dobber! And, she was pretty lucky at picking the winning scratch-off lottery tickets.
To pass the time, Pat’s hobbies included sewing, cooking and watching TV with Richard (Golden Girls, Days of our Lives, Fox News, Judge Judy and The Family Feud). After working many years on second shift she continued being a night owl, even after she retired.
In her younger years, she enjoyed bowling and could be found traveling with a ladies team from coast to coast, tearing up the lanes. She loved to eat out, and on her visits to Texas she would have a list of places to go to, which usually included the famous Tin Roof BBQ.
Pat will be remembered for her kind and generous heart, her wonderful smile, and sparkling blue eyes. She was loved so greatly and will be missed by all who were lucky to know her.
