COLUMBIA - A memorial service for Jeffery LaVerne Freeman, 43, will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, September 10, 2020 at Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel. The family will receive friends following the service.
Mr. Freeman passed away Saturday, September 5, 2020. Born in Columbia on September 21, 1976, he was a son of Joel Edmon “Eddie” Freeman, Jr. and Katherine Ann “Kathy” Collins Freeman of Gaston. Jeffery was a 1995 graduate of Brooklyn Cayce High School and worked as a sales representative for Freightliner and William Detroit Trucking, and most recently worked for Michelin. He was a die-hard Clemson fan who loved fishing, and spending time with family and friends.
Surviving in addition to his parents, he was the loving father of his daughter, Haley Elizabeth Freeman; son, Joshua Freeman; daughter, Hayes Blair McDaniel; his brother, Joel Edmon “Joey” Freeman III; aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. He was predeceased by his paternal and maternal grandparents.
