Joseph Franklin Graham, 95 years old, long-time resident of Bluefield, WV and most recently a resident of Beckley, WV was reunited with the love of his life, Kitty Graham on September 9, 2020. Joe as he was affectionately known by those that knew and loved him was the biggest Mountaineer and New York Yankee fan you’d ever meet. Joe proudly served in WWII as a member of the U.S. Navy. He was retired from DuPont Chemical Company and was a long-time volunteer at the Bluefield Regional Medical Center. He and his wife Kitty were members of Christ Episipocal Church in Bluefield, WV, enjoyed countless Bluefield Orioles games and spent a lot of their retirement traveling and spending time with their family.
born on September 9, 1925 in New Castle, DE. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Kitty Graham (Deceased).
Joe is survived by two sons, Joseph Franklin Graham, Jr. of New Castle, DE, and Michael Graham of Beckley, WV & wife Billie Joe Graham; grandson, Christopher Graham of Beckley, WV & wife Terrian Graham; granddaughter, Ashleigh Graham-Smith of Bellefonte, KY & husband Dustin Smith; and his great-grandchildren, Selena Graham, Adrianna Graham, London Graham, Isabella Graham, Lilian Smith, Norah Kate Smith, and Emersyn Smith.
Memorial service will be held at Christ Episcopal Church in Bluefield, WV on Saturday, September 19, 2020 at 2:00 pm with Fr. Chad Slater officiating. Inurnment will follow in the Christ Episcopal Church Columbarium.
