Elizabeth was a devoted follower of Jesus. She revered God and attended to His word. She took joy in His creation and His creatures. She was often seen tending her flowers or sitting under her magnolia tree reading the Bible.
Elizabeth used her gifts from the Lord to serve others, and she served them well. She was a talented baker, and often expressed her love with gifts from her kitchen.
Through the years, Elizabeth served her family generously and sacrificially. She could be counted on to help in any circumstance.
Liz loved having fun, and often delighted those around her with her capricious personality and witty quips, even in her last days. Her sense of fun was especially notable in her cards and notes which she embellished with playful little drawings and whimsical comments.
Elizabeth was a beautiful woman in appearance, and in her heart, who loved the Lord faithfully all her days. The thread of serving others that was woven into the tapestry of her life testifies to her love for the Father. Praise be to God for her life!
