Special To The News
Madill. I. 4-- Jack, the son of I. O. Lewis, who was about 17 or 18 years of age, received a fatal wound Tuesday evening and died early yesterday morning. While out driving in his buggy south of town the fatal accident occured. He had his shotgun along with him with the breech of the gun sitting in the bottom of the buggy and his right arm resting, as it is supposed on the muzzle, when the gun discharged its whole load into the small part of the upper arm and shoulder, making amputation necessary.
