Tammie was preceded in death by her father and a sister who died in childhood.

She was survived by her mother Delores Parrott; husband, Charles Mathis (married 1995); sons Kevin J. Sweet (Nicole Sweet) and Geoff Mathis; sisters Brenda Lamey and Michelle Dugan (Pam Dugan); and brothers Michael Parrott (Tu Parrott) and James Parrott (Melissa Parrott).
