Patricia Derrick, 76, of Mt. Pleasant passed away Wednesday, January 15, 2014 in Mt. Pleasant. Patricia was born to Hubert and Bessie Metcalf on June 4, 1937. She is survived by her son Bobby and wife Kaye Derrick of Texarkana, son David and wife Stephanie Derrick of Mt. Pleasant, son Steve Derrick, also of Mt. Pleasant, son Charles and wife Angel Derrick of Naples, daughter Elizabeth and husband Steve Strobl of Little Elm, and daughter-in-law Sherri Derrick She is also survived by sisters Willie Mae Hicks, Shirley Ryan, Doris Breedan, brothers Roy Metcalf and Billy Metcalf, sister-in-laws Dorothy Derrick and Bessie Mae Cook, 17 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Harold Dean Derrick, a son, Brian Derrick, granddaughters Lori and Whitney Derrick, a grandson Charles David "Chad" Derrick, her parents Hubert Lee and Bessie Ruth Metcalf, and two brothers Robert and Ed Metcalf.
Graveside services will be 2:00 P.M., Saturday January 18 at the Lonestar Cemetery in Mt. Pleasant, under the direction of Curry-Welborn Funeral Home.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Harold Dean Derrick, a son, Brian Derrick, granddaughters Lori and Whitney Derrick, a grandson Charles David "Chad" Derrick, her parents Hubert Lee and Bessie Ruth Metcalf, and two brothers Robert and Ed Metcalf.
Graveside services will be 2:00 P.M., Saturday January 18 at the Lonestar Cemetery in Mt. Pleasant, under the direction of Curry-Welborn Funeral Home.
