Survived by mother, Mount Hope; loving wife of 25 years, Kimberly A. (Cook) Lang, Mount Hope; daughter, Cara, engaged to Ryan Wilson, Nashville, Tennessee; brothers, Terry, married to Denise (Homola), South Fork; Rick, married to Wendy (Martinage), South Fork; sister, Sherry, wife of Joel Russell, Mount Hope; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Kevin was a member of Mount Hope United Methodist Church. He was a graduate of Forest Hills High School, class of 1991 and earned a bachelor of science degree in technology education from California University of Pennsylvania. Kevin had a passion for teaching. As a technology education teacher for the Forest Hills School District for over 25 years, he sought to uphold the Ranger motto: “Excellence is the Tradition.” He was extremely talented and loved working with his hands. He was happiest in the company of family, friends, and his dogs; and enjoyed traveling, hiking, biking, and attending Pitt Panther football games. He was proud of his daughter and loved boasting about her accomplishments. Kevin was someone you could depend on, someone you could lean on. We will forever cherish his fun-loving nature and embrace in our hearts his beautiful and amazing spirit.
