Carolyn "Sue" Scarbrough

Carolyn “Sue” Scarbrough of Enterprise passed away on Wednesday, September 9, 2020. She was 80.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 12, 2020, at Sorrells Funeral Home in Enterprise with Reverend Huey Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at 10:00 a.m. and continue until time of service.

Sue was born December 29, 1939 to the late Bennie and Bessie Howell. She was preceded in death by her son Michael Scarbrough; brothers, Julian Howell and James Edward Howell; sisters, Olene Grice and Lorene Mock. Sue loved to sing and attend church. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt.

Survivors include her daughter, Angie Karpinski (David) of Enterprise; sister, Opal Weigand of Enterprise; brother, Ned Howell (Jackie) of Enterprise; grandchildren, Mandi Cunningham (Matt) and Steven Law (Victoria); and great-grandchildren, Remington, London, Averi Kate, Addi Claire and Karson.

Sorrells Funeral Home and Crematory of Enterprise, (334) 347-9598, is in charge of arrangements.
