DeVonne “Bonnie” Dunford Hayes, 94; of Soda Springs passed away on Wednesday, September 9, 2020.



She was born on March 8, 1926 in Bern, Idaho the daughter Rao Bingham and Venice Blanche Smith Dunford.



She grew up in Georgetown, Idaho and graduated from Georgetown High School.

Bonnie married Rex haddock Hayes on January 6, 1944 in Georgetown. He passed away on March 30, 2008. They moved to Conda and loved there from 1950 to 52 then spent 3 years in Bancroft before moving to Soda Springs where she has lived ever since.



She is a Member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and has served in the Young Women, Primary President, Relief Society Teacher and she loved to attend the Temple.



She was also am member of the Pink Ladies, Daughters of the Utah Pioneers and Homemakers Club.



Bonnie enjoyed playing cards and her time dancing with the Dancing Grannies.



She is survived by two sons and two daughters, Rustin Rex Hayes of Soda Springs, ID, Michael Ray and Tyra Hayes of Soda Springs, ID, Krista and John Yates of Midvale, UT, Cynthia and Dan Northcutt of San Diego, CA. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren and 49 great-grandchildren and one sister Gloria Freeman. She was preceded in death by her husband Rex Hayes, her mother and father Rao and Venice Dunford, two brothers, Forrest Dunford and Ray Dunford and a grandson Drew Thompson.



Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at Noon at the Soda Springs Fairview Cemetery. Family will meet with friends at the Funeral Home from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.
