Patsy Kitchens Martin was born June 1, 1961 to her late parents, Bill and Anita Lowery Kitchens in Collins, MS. She passed away Thursday, Sept. 10, 2020 at the Hospice of West Alabama in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, after a lengthy illness.
Patsy was a loving mother, grandmother, gr-grandmother, daughter and sister. She was devoted to her church and to serving the Lord. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Preceded in death by her parents; one great granddaughter, Makenna Terry; one brother, Billy Kitchens, and the father of her children, Mark Martin.
Survivors include three sons, Duwayne Martin (Angie), Mardy Martin, & Jason Martin all of Vance, Alabama; four granddaughters, Katlyn Martin and Adysen Martin of Vance, AL, Alexis Martin of West Blocton, AL, and Shelby Martin of McCalla, AL; two sisters, Tammy Hand (Lee) of Mize, MS, and Carolyn McRee (Don) of Ellisville, MS; and a host of family and friends.
Visitation 9:00 A.M. until 12:00 P. M. Saturday, Sept. 12, 2020 with Funeral services following at 1:00 P.M. at the Rock Church in Laurel, MS.
Rev. Jerry Rowley, Jr., Rev. Billy Tallant, Rev. R.A. Emerson, and Rev. Scott A. Kitchens officiated. Special music provided by Mrs. Misti Lambert and Kelly Hicks.
Pallbearers: Jarod Hand, Christian Terry, Lee Hand, Javan Hand, Jon Martin and Don Martin.
She was laid to rest beside her parents, in the Jesus Name Apostolic Church Cemetery in Seminary, MS.
