ARCHER CITY, Texas-- Fred
Jonathan Tyler Sr., 52, died
Thursday, July 10, 1997, in a Fort
Campbell, Ky., hospital.
Services were at 2 p.m. Sun-
day at McReynolds-Nave & Lar-
son Funeral Home in Clarksville,
Tenn. Burial will be at 2 p.m. Sat-
urday in Mims Chapel Cemetery
in Jefferson, Texas, under the
direction of Aulds Funeral Home.
Mr. Tyler was born Sept. 22,
1944, in Jefferson. He graduated
from Archer City High School in
1963 and attended T.S.T.I. in Fort
Worth. He worked for Bridwell
Oil Co. and L.D. Burns before
joining the Army. He was a veter-
an of the Vietnam and Gulf wars.
His total service time was 24
years.
Survivors include his wife,
Cathy of Clarksville; three sons,
Jonathan Jr. of Amarillo, Texas,
Bill of Dallas and Jeremiah of
Clarksville; three brothers, Jim
of Plano, Texas, Cecil Brammlett
of Plainview, Texas, and Thomas
Gough of Amarillo; his parents,
Fred and Polly Tyler of Queen
City, Texas; and a grandchild.
Memorials may be made to the
local Disabled Veterans chapter.
