Deborah Boyd, age 65 passed on Wednesday, September 2, 2020 in Cincinnati, Ohio. Deborah was born on October 6, 1954 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late David Edmonds and Curlie May Williamson.
Deborah was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Boyd; stepfather, Anderson Williamson; granddaughter, Ashley Boyd; grandson, Markell Boyd; and sister, Stephanie Johnson.
Deborah re-dedicated her life to Christ in 1985 where she attended the West End Community Church of Cincinnati, Ohio. Deborah enjoyed bible study and attending noon day prayer as well as the Daniel Class Bible Study. She was known by her grandchildren for listening to her old gospel music which gave her so much inspiration. She enjoyed talking about the goodness of the Lord. Deborah loved her family and cooking.
She leaves to cherish in her loving memory her children, Antionette Boyd, Nida Shelton (Reginald), Felisha Boyd, and R. Jason Boyd; eleven grandchildren and great grandchildren; Deborah was the oldest of 6 siblings: Cynthia Dowell, Elizabeth Swain(Alexander), Cheryl McClloum, Darlene Dowell, Nina Williamson, and Valerie Dowell(Cousin);
and a host of nieces and nephews.
She will be missed and remembered by family, good friends, and close knit church family. Deborah often said
"Do not worry about me when I leave this earth, I am going to be with my Heavenly Father."
Visitation is from 1:30 pm until 2:30 pm, on Thursday, September 10, 2020, at the Walker Funeral Home - Walnut Hills Chapel, 2625 Gilbert Avenue, Cincinnati (45206).
Interment will follow at Spring Grove Cemetery, 4521 Spring Grove Avenue, Cincinnati, 45232..
Everyone attending must wear a mask and practice social distancing.
