Ryan Wesley Barker, 46, of North Pekin, passed away at 12:31 p.m. Monday, September 7, 2020 at OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria. He was born October 3, 1973 in Pekin to Charles Wesley and Kathryn Lucille (Pierce) Barker. He was preceded in death by his father; maternal grandparents and paternal grandparents.

Surviving his mother, Kathy of North Pekin; one son, Riley Allan Caro of Marquette Heights; one sister, Megan (Chad) Olsen of East Peoria; one stepbrother, Kelly (Danielle) Ulery of North Pekin; one stepsister, Cindy Ulery of East Peoria and nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Ryan worked at D.R. Classic Floors, Inc. in Glasford as an installer for several years.

He loved bowling, dirt track racing, fishing and supporting local bands. In his youth, Ryan enjoyed roller skating and playing Little League Baseball.

His funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, September 12, 2020 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Pastor John Plunkett will officiate. Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday afternoon at the funeral home. Guidelines regarding social distancing and wearing of masks will be followed. Private inurnment will be at Prairie Haven Cemetery in Pekin.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the family to help offset expenses.
