She was born July 17, 1946, in Versailles, daughter of Ralph Raymond and Frances Isabelle (Stone) Purdy.
Linda worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse, had owned two businesses and was a certified court reporter.
She was the mother of four children: She is also survived by four siblings:; eight grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Jim Purdy; and a sister, Dixie Purdy.
