Sandra Sue Spence, 69 of Urbana passed away, Wednesday, September 9, 2020 in her residence surrounded by her loving family.
She was born March 9, 1951 in Springfield, Ohio, the daughter of the late William V. Minnick and Joan (Gilliand)Minnick Ehrle. Sandra enjoyed travelling, especially trips to Daytona Beach. She was an active member of Faith Fellowship Church, where she enjoyed attending retreats. Sandra loved her family, especially her sisters, nieces, and nephews. But most of all, she loved her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Ross Spence Jr.; her daughter, Julia (Robert) Lain; her son, Shannon W. Spence; her grandchildren, Corey & Travis Andon and Garrett Spence; her great grandchildren, Airith, Maliyah, and Mason; her sisters, Cherie (Ernie) Hollbrook and Cathy Jo Campbell; her brother-in-law, Jeff (Shannon Deann) Spence; her sister-in-law, Elizabeth Dunlap and several nieces and nephews.
Sandra is preceded in death by her parents; her brothers-in-law, Paul Spence, Kenny Donahoe, and Dane Campbell and her nephew, Troy Donahoe.
Due to the restrictions of the Covid-19, we will be following the guidelines set by Governor DeWine's office.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 12, 2020 in Faith Fellowship Church, 236 Bloomfield Ave. Urbana, Ohio 43078. with Pastor Michael Maurice officiating. The family will receive friends from 9-10 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow in OakDale Cemetery.
