Mrs. Wiatt, 90, Dies At Home In Gloucester
Signpine, Jan. 13 - Mrs. Nannie Booth Wiatt, 90, died at her home Monday following a lingering illness.
She is survived by four daughters, Miss Kate Wiatt of Signpine; Miss Addie Wiatt of College Park, Md.; Mrs. Russell Gray of Gloucester; and Mrs. Oliff Stevens of Morrison; three sons, Frank Wiatt and Robert Wiatt of Newport News and John Wiatt of Signpine; eight grandchildren and 13 greatgrandchildren.
Mrs. Wiatt was born July 3, 1862 at Hermitage on the York River in Gloucester. She was a descendant of the Booth family of the colonial period of Gloucester and she was the last survivor of her generation.
The cortege will leave Foster-Bridges Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Wednesday for a graveside service in Bellamy Methodist Church Cemetery at 2:30 p.m. conducted by the Rev. Victor B. Anthony III.
