Obituary

In loving memory of Michelle Elise Hardman. Born in Portland, Oregon on June 10,1974 to David Charles Summers Sr. and Dawn Mari Summers.

Heaven has received another angel this week as Michelle has been called home to join her Heavenly Father, her dad and other loved ones on June 18, 2017. She fought four long days after an accident in her home to be able to stay with her children who were her life. During this time, many friends and loved ones were able to visit and say their goodbyes. She was lovingly surrounded by her family as she passed away peacefully to her heavenly home.

Michelle was residing in Lehi, Utah with her amazing boyfriend, Jeff Ketcheside and her two cherished angels Alayna and Austin. She worked for many years at Young Living before being able to be a stay at home mom. Something that made her and her children very happy. Michelle, loved to learn! She was certified as a Phlebotomist and also as a volunteer Firefight/EMT.

She enjoyed reading, writing in her journals, photography, playing guitar, camping, hiking, fishing, shooting, gardening and most of all spending time with her kiddos. Her two favorite places were her family cabin in Utah and the Oregon Coast. She also enjoyed family trips to Cabo San Lucas. She really loved making people happy. She was always there for anyone who needed a listening ear or a hug, and had a smile for everyone. Because of this, she has many friends that cherish her. Her family has seen such an outpouring of love and compassion from so many friends that love and adore her. Her light will forever shine in our hearts.

Michelle was able to keep on giving and serving others because she was an organ donor. Her family was so thankful to know that she was able to help so many other families and to know that the biggest part of her, her heart, will live on!

Michelle is survived by her children Alayna Hardman and Austin Hardman, boyfriend Jeff Ketcheside, mother Dawn Summers, brother David Summers Jr., sister-in-law Adrienne Summers, nieces BriAunna Shively (Austin) and Brinlee Summers, nephews Brayden and Bryson Summers and numerous aunts uncles and cousins. Preceded in death by her dad David Summers Sr. and twin nephews Bryker and Brody Summers.

Her family would like to thank her doctors, nurses and staff at the Mountain Point Emergency Room and Intermountain Medical Center Shock Trauma ICU. We would also like to thank Intermountain Donor Services.

Michelle, you will be missed beyond measure, always in our thoughts, forever in our family and loved to the moon and back.

A Memorial Visitation will be Saturday, June 24, 2017, 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. at the LDS Church, 670 East 800 North, Orem. Condolences may be offered to her family online at www.walkersanderson.com.
