Jodie M. "Brown Cow" Brown, 44, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away Wednesday in Pine Grove Township.
Born Oct. 26, 1971, in Pottsville, he was a son of Patricia Haldeman Wilt and her husband, Randy, Cleona, and the late Dean Brown.
He was a 1990 graduate of Pine Grove High School and a graduate of Vale Tech.
Jodie worked for the former Cressona Aluminum and was a diesel mechanic for MGD, Myerstown.
He loved hunting, fishing and the outdoors. He also loved riding his Harley-Davidson.
Jodie was a member of Hetzel's Lutheran Church, Pine Grove, and the Roedersville Gun Club.
Surviving, in addition to his mother and stepfather, are his wife of 20 years, Stacey Moyer Brown, Schuylkill Haven; two sons, Kyle Brown and Travis Brown; a sister, Melissa Brown Laratonda and husband, Anthony, Camp Hill; a nephew, Vincent Laratonda; a niece, Lucille Laratonda; aunts, uncles and cousins.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Hetzel's Lutheran Church, 261 Hetzel's Church Road, Pine Grove, with pastor Barry Spatz officiating. There will be a viewing from 9 a.m. Monday until the time of service at the church. Interment will take place at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer contributions in his memory be sent to help set up scholarships for Kyle and Travis Brown, c/o Stacey Brown, 280 Dad Burnhams Road, Schuylkill Haven, PA 17972.
